Friendly`s in Dover

The ice cream is good. The service was quick, and - wait for it........... Friendly!

Food was great. Server was decent. We were overcharged for our soup and once it was corrected, we didn't realize we were then overcharged on the entree. I still like Friendly's and will be back. Will just check the receipt a lot closer. By the way, you can still get a military discount too.

Beware of the friendly's in Dover, DE ???? They have no clue on how to do a split check payment with two cards. Not only did they mess up the first time she wanted to swipe my card again without even deleting the first transaction and take more money. What in the world is going on????

This a nice ice cream store with a good menu for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack. The kids just love this place. Good food and pretty good service most of the time.

Great sundaes, but a bit pricey. Ok for a treat, but not for regular visits.

There breakfast is really good. But there lunch and dinner sucks.

This is my most favorite dessert ever. Just wish there were more locations.I do hit the one up in Orlando whenever we go. Loved the one in Dover, De where I went at least once a month for this treat.

Food amount for prices was high, $10. 79 for fish "platter" small coleslaw and not alot of fries, service was slow, banana split was liquid ice cream.

Food was great and service was fast. I will visit again when in in Dover. Loved our waitress .

Only people at four tables. Service was very slow took over 25 minutes to get our food burger was like a hockey puck for the BLT baccon was just shy of burned.

Love it! First time going to friendlys. Waitress was very nice and friendly as well.

Our group of 11, including 4 children was a bit much for our server. The service slow and disjointed. The server was also working the front window and was not paying attention stretching the meal to over an hour into the cleanup before closing. Usually, with smaller parties it's been better.

Good icecream place. The burgers and sandwiches are ok. The servers could've been a little more friendly but they weren't rude by any means. It would be great if it were bigger and had more seating inside. Overall, a nice place for families to get a quick bite without being a fast food restaurant.

Friendly's is still an ok place to eat.....Clean, Decent Food..... except.... seems this address Friendly's, didn't do so well with their coleslaw :-( lol

Friendly's is a classic place for me. Nostalgia all the way, lol. My favorite place to get a quick meal and some good ice cream treats for me and the fam. Where I just moved from unfortunately all but one are closed so I was happy to see this one right down the road from where I live now. I love that face that for so long I used to ask for a combo of my favoirte things and now they have that exact thing, the Fisherman's platter. The only complaint is that my food wasn't fried crispy enough for me.

The milk tastes very good，but the meals are greesy.

I was here for a late lunch and had chicken and broccoli and a cup of clam chowder. I don't know what possessed me to get the soup, but I thought I'd take a chance. Obviously canned but pretty much ok. The chicken was 2 small breasts which were moist with bacon, diced tomatoes and cheddar. All of it was good, not great. Value for dollar it's very good. Against my experiences, it was ok.

Great ice cream. But short staffed so even though the server provided good service it took a while to get to us because that are understaffed. But the ice cream was worth the wait.

Not sure how you can make ice cream bad. Friendly's has always been the place to go for ice cream & it didn't disappoint today! Service was good - servers are normally pleasant & tonight ours was very friendly & attentive. I don't know if all Friendly's restaurants are like this, but the Dover Friendly's is a neighborhood hangout. Families with young kids as well as elderly and great family atmosphere! If I didn't gain 5 pounds every time I eat there I'd go more often!

Love the new menus and offerings. Great food. But service could've been a lot better.

Waitress was outstanding, food tasty but the restaurant was a little old and could use.some updating.. especially with their rest room.

Very disappointed in the service. Food was good just took a long time. Another waitress did jump in and help but over all was there for food and ice cream for an Hour and 45 min.. not sure if I would ever go back!

The clam chowder was good, not overwhelming. The tunamelt was cold and the toasted bread was dry. A disappointment. I drove to Dover with the sole intention of experiencing local culture. I was not impressed. I have had far better "New England" clam chowder in California!

Extremely slow especially for not being busy. Associates did not appear happy to be there and we def not in the mood to work

First time dining here. We had a delicious lunch and the service was excellent. Our waitress was super nice and checked on us several times. I certainly would dine here again when we are in the area.

This place has really gone downhill since I have been in about the last 10yrs. The restaurant wasn't very clean and had not been updated in a very long time. I had to send the coffee back cuz it tasted like tea and the waitress didn't take it off my check. The portions have gotten very small with sides being served in condiment cups. The crispy chicken dinner salad was small like a side salad. Food was very overpriced and service was poor. Basically just an ice cream place for kids. Forget am adult meal and just go for a sundae.
